Emirates Extruded Polystyrene LLC (EEP)
is a joint venture company of Dubai
Investments Industries and Farha
brothers of Cloisall Co. LLC. Located in
Dubai Investment Park, the EEP plant is
specialized in manufacturing of extruded
polystyrene boards under the brand name
of E-FOAM.
Commonly used for residential,
commercial and industrial insulation,
E-FOAM plays a major role in the field
of energy conservation programs as well
as satisfying the need to contribute to
the achievements of self-sufficiency of
energy in the Gulf countries in the
construction material sector throughout
the Gulf region.
The Need
for Insulation
Insulation system reduces the heat
transfer through the envelope of a
building. Wherever there is a
temperature difference, heat flows
naturally from a warmer space to a
cooler space. To maintain comfort in all
seasons, the heat gained must be removed
by the cooling system. Statistics show
that 50% to 70% of the energy used in
the average home in the Gulf countries
is for cooling. Thus, using thermal
insulation to reduce this energy
consumption, while increasing comfort
and saving money.
Product
Description
E-FOAM has closed cells with common
sides and is produced on a continuous,
fully automated extrusion process, in
accordance with international
specifications and standards.
Extruded polystyrene green E-FOAM has a
high resistance to water absorption. The
manufacturing process, combined with
intrinsic qualities of the static
component thermo plastic material gives
E-FOAM predictable performance and high
insulating value.
